Plastic products usually are insulations with electrostatic problems

Share:
Plastic products usually are insulations, so the plastic industry is also the hardest hit area of electrostatic problems. In the bag making area, molding, plastic bottle production, masterbatch transportation and other process links, strong electrostatic elimination treatment must be carried out, otherwise it will cause serious problems such as attracting dust, electric shock, wrong transmission, blockage of transmission pipeline and so on. Therefore, electrostatic eliminator is essential in the process of industrial production. Next, I will analyze for you: what scene needs to eliminate static electricity? Where to install static eliminator? What kind of electrostatic eliminator do you choose?

1. Static elimination of flat mouth bag making machine

Problem: for the vast majority of bag making processes, static electricity will cause the product to adhere to the bag at the outlet of the sealing machine and the bag is not collected properly.

Anping suggested:

Install a high-performance ion bar at the inlet end of the sealing machine to neutralize the static electricity in front of the sealing machine;

An ion bar shall be installed at the top and bottom of the folded bag and the thicker bag.

2. Plastic bottle production, automatic transportation and processing

Problem: in the production of plastic bottles, a large amount of static electricity will accumulate after falling into the silo, which will lead to serious electric shock.

Anping's suggestion: install an ion wind rod above the hopper to prevent the bottles from sticking to each other and electric shock to the operators.

3. Electrostatic removal on the conveyor belt of injection molded parts

Problem: static electricity will make the injection molded parts adsorb on the conveyor belt without falling into the collection box.

Anping suggestion: static eliminator can be installed above the conveyor belt; Ion wind rods can also be installed according to specific conditions.

4. Static elimination of plastic film thermovacuum forming

Question 1 (trimming, chip cutting and cleaning): when cutting or processing molded parts, they will absorb dust in the air, so they need to be cleaned before coloring and packaging.

Anping suggestion: you can choose manual and automatic cleaning equipment, use ion air gun, ion air nozzle, etc.

Problem 2 (hot forming and vacuum forming): heat, pressure and separation from the mold make the products have static electricity, which will cause the products to stick to each other and absorb a large amount of dust.

Anping suggestion: ion fan or static elimination rod can be selected.

5. Light plastic products stick to the mold surface

Problem: for hollow and thin-walled injection molded parts, such as disposable syringes and other medical products, the injection molded parts will not fall into the collection system because of electrostatic adhesion to the mold surface.

Anping's suggestion: select ion fan or ion air rod. When the mold is opened, blow ion air flow from above the mold to neutralize the static electricity of injection molded parts on the mold.

6. Electrostatic removal of bag making machine

Problem: for the vast majority of bag making processes, static electricity will cause the product to adhere to the bag at the outlet of the sealing machine and the bag is not collected properly.

Anping suggested:

Install a high-performance ion bar at the inlet end of the sealing machine to neutralize the static electricity in front of the sealing machine;

An ion bar shall be installed at the top and bottom of the folded bag and the thicker bag.

7. Electrostatic removal of mobile phone case and plastic case

Problem: static electricity will easily make the plastic shell absorb dust, and it is also easy to click the staff.

Anping suggested: install ion fan above the workbench,

8. Plastic bottle production - bottle cap injection molding

Problem: in the production of bottle caps, in order to prevent dust adsorption, electric shock to operators and product dislocation, it is necessary to eliminate static electricity.

Anping's suggestion: install an ion bar above the silo (or other long-distance electrostatic eliminators can use ion fans, etc.).

9. Plastic bottle production - blow molding parison

Problem: electrostatic problem runs through the whole plastic bottle and bottle cap industry. During blow molding, the parison will be adsorbed on the die.

Anping suggested:

The installation distance of ion bar is 500mm to neutralize the static electricity of the parison and prevent the parison from being adsorbed by the die.

When the operation distance is required to be longer, the air source type ion bar can be selected to eliminate static electricity at a long distance, which can eliminate static electricity of about 1m.

10. Molding - Collection

Problem: small plastic parts with a large amount of static electricity accumulated in the hopper will absorb dust in the air and cause electrostatic shock.

Anping suggested: when the injection molded parts fall off to the hopper, use an ion bar to effectively eliminate static electricity and prevent dust adsorption and electric shock.

11. Plastic bottle production - raw material filling

Problem: when filling plastic containers with dry products, such as powder or particles, the following problems occur:

The product is adsorbed around the screw mouth on the top of the container;

The product sticks to the container;

The product will even jump out of the container;

The product will absorb dust.

Anping suggests: before filling, install an ion bar 25 to 50mm above the container to neutralize the static electricity on the upper part of the bottle.

12. Plastic bottle production - canning dislocation

Problem: during the production and transmission of plastic bottles, it is common for containers to be misaligned due to excessive static electricity.

Anping suggests that ion bars can be installed on both sides of the conveyor belt to prevent dislocation before pouring.
