Coating (soluble substrate)
Solvent-based coating may pose a great risk due to static electricity generated on the substrate and rubber roller. The accumulation of static electricity may ignite the combustible gases volatilized in the environment, resulting in:
1. Fire
2. The machine is damaged
3. Reduced output
4. Health & safety issues.
Only static control equipment that fully meets the ATEX requirements can be used in hazardous environments. The DC ion bar provides a reliable solution to the electrostatic discharge problem of flux-based high-speed printing and coating lines as shown in the figure.
