Food processing static control application case

Share:

Problem:

When the static-charged sugar particles fall freely in the air, the following problems will be caused:

1. A large amount of dust accumulates in the filling area due to static electricity

2. Operator received electric shock

3. Granulated sugar will adsorb other particles around it due to the charge

4. Electrostatic discharge in potentially hazardous areas. Sugar refineries are recognized as potential hot spots for dust explosions.

Solution:

Install an ion fan (rod) above the dangerous area of the filling station as shown in the figure. This can prevent the accumulation of static electricity and solve the above problems.

Note: The power supply control unit and drive fan must be placed outside the hazardous environment.
